Karavan Trailers has used two kinds of grease in the past and present. We used Texaco Starplex #2, which is red, and Valvoline Cerulean, which is blue. We recommend using any good marine-grade water-resistant grease that has a temperature rating of at least 350 degrees.
We do not recommend mixing greases. Before replacing grease with a different brand/type, we recommend cleaning out the existing grease with a solvent.
